This ministry, in its 14th year, continues to minister to varying
needs of hurting families whom Jesus referred to as the "least
of these." He said service to them is service to Him

Lord uses about 150 volunteers annually and resources from
29 churches to accomplish this mission effort:

This ministry belongs to these churches. They provide the resources
in funds, food, clothing and volunteers. The budgets have totaled
over $1,000,000 Your churches have given thousands of tins of food
and clothing. We have served more than 195,000 people.

The 2002 budget totals $112,100 of which $103,000 is for ministry.
No salaries are paid. First Baptist
of Abilene has provided the building at no cost from the beginning.

In the associational year just ended
we provided food for 3,091 families and clothing for 3,618 persons.
We assisted 1,228 families with rent, utilities, medication and
transportation.
