- John Tunnell has resigned as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church effective July 27th. He is moving to Brownwood and is available for supply preaching.
- Jimmy Hatcher has resigned as pastor of Tye Baptist Church to become pastor of First Baptist Church in Baird, effective August 11, 2008.
- Mike Chancellor has retired as Pastor of Crescent Heights Baptist Church after 15 years, effective August 3rd, to become Responsible Psychotherapist at the Pulunsky Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in East Texas.
